Inside the cage
Screen panels are washed at very low pressure from the outside — enough to shift the film and pollen, not enough to blow the spline out of its channel. A blown panel is a re-screen job and it is entirely avoidable.
The frame and kickplates hold their own growth in the corners and along the base channel. That is where the black staining that makes a cage look tired actually lives, and it is treated rather than blasted.
Deck surfaces around the water
- Cool deck / Kool Deck — a textured coating over concrete. It is soft, it chips, and high pressure will take the texture straight off. Low pressure and chemistry only.
- Travertine — beautiful and porous. Acidic cleaners etch it permanently, so the product choice matters more than the machine.
- Paver surrounds — cleaned as pavers, with a matte sealer if sealed at all. Gloss around a pool is a slip problem.
- Broom concrete — the most forgiving surface out there.

Worth asking before you book
Do I need to cover the pool?
No. Rinse water entering a pool in small amounts is managed by normal chemistry, and the deck is directed away from the water where possible. Expect to check your chemistry afterwards as you would after heavy rain.
Can you clean the inside of the screens too?
The inside faces are done where access allows. Furniture and planters need to be moved clear beforehand — that is worth doing before the visit.
